1. Timeline of Early Space Exploration
a. Read Chapter 1, Section 2, and identify the dates of major space exploration missions between 1957 and 1972.
b. Identify the achievement of each mission.
c. Create a timeline which shows all of these significant mission. Label the following for each:
i. The name of the project or mission.
ii. The date
iii. The accomplishment
d. Be sure your timeline uses an appropriate scale.
e. See the example (above). Dates on this example have been blurred.
